Places, Plates, & Pints
We couldn’t begin to catalogue all of the fun + interesting things to do, see, eat, and explore in the city - but we’ve suggested some of our favorites below. Let us know if there’s something in particular you’re looking for and we’re happy to make itineraries!
We recommend getting around by foot and by subway whenever possible - Google Maps and Citymapper are useful for route suggestions. If you do need a car, you can hail a cab or use any of the ridesharing services (Lyft, Uber, etc.). Citi Bike is our bikeshare system and docks are plentiful in the neighborhoods around our venue. You can buy a day pass right at the kiosks.
The Carroll Street F/G subway station is closest to where the ceremony and reception will be held. You can catch the F from Jay Street-MetroTech station (near Marriott) or Bergen Street station (near Nu Hotel); or take a walk or short trip by car from many other points in the surrounding neighborhoods of Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, Gowanus, Downtown Brooklyn, Boerum Hill, Park Slope, Red Hook, or Prospect Heights.
Everything can be viewed in one map here.
To See:

If you want to get out of Brooklyn and onto the water, hop a train to Lower Manhattan and board the (free) SI Ferry at Whitehall Terminal for a round-trip ride. It runs 24/7 and features prime photo opportunities of the skyline and Statue of Liberty.
